The idea behind The Swansea Bay Foundation is for local and regional South West Wales businesses to pool our charitable donations, making it easy for local groups and volunteer-led projects to get the funding they desperately need.

By coming on board as a business partner, you can see the impact of your contribution in the photos, videos and testimonials we share.  As the profile of the Swansea Bay Foundation continues to grow, your business will be part of that success-story: regional businesses supporting our communities to support each other in challenging times.

Unlike the big national charities, we don’t pay salaries: all of your donations go to supporting the voluntary sector which is so vital to our communities – the people, groups, organisations and projects making a real difference locally, which need all of our support.

What kind of groups do we support?

 As a relatively new regional charity, the Swansea Bay Foundation wants to ensure that our donations have the greatest positive impact locally.  Our focus is on supporting projects, groups and organisations run by volunteers in our communities. 

We can support your running costs, project costs, activity costs, event costs…. Tell us what you’re doing, who it serves, and why it matters, and we will try to help.  We are always happy to discuss your application and advise on what the panel is likely to support – just one of the ways we make sure the process is as straightforward, transparent and friendly as possible!
