The Swansea Bay Foundation gives grants to projects, groups and organisations in Swansea.  Our first round of grants are from £500 to £5,000, to be spent within three years.  We want to support community groups, local charities and new ideas, helping passionate people make a difference in local communities.

Applications are currently closed as the available funds have now been allocated. Applications will re-open in January 2025.

Our Priorities

Your work should align with one or more of our funding priorities:

Community development – activities that connect local people, strengthen relationships, and build inclusive communities where everyone feels valued and welcomed.

Improving the local environment – activities that make local places more vibrant, green and sustainable, helping communities adapt creatively to the challenges of our fast changing world – economic, environmental and psychological.

Caring for vulnerable people – activities that serve the special needs of local people, enhancing their wellbeing and helping to ensure everyone can live a good life in their local communities.
