Hillrise Hive Youth Club
The Project in a Nutshell
Swansea Bay Foundation is proud to support HILLRISE HIVE Youth Club, a volunteer-led community project based in Craigfelen, Clydach, that provides a safe, welcoming space for young people to connect, create, and access support. The club offers free meals, arts and crafts, games, and a friendly environment, giving young people a much-needed break from challenges they may face at home.
Our funding helps cover the cost of food, drinks, and creative supplies — ensuring the youth club can continue offering regular, free sessions that foster fun, inclusion, and care throughout the year.
Why This Matters
For many children and teenagers, HILLRISE HIVE is more than a youth club — it’s a lifeline. Some attendees face food insecurity, disability, or social isolation, and the club provides not just nourishment, but a vital sense of community and belonging. Volunteers work tirelessly to ensure every young person feels safe, supported, and accepted.
By backing this project, Swansea Bay Foundation is helping young people thrive — through friendship, creativity, and reliable access to warm meals and trusted adults. It’s a shining example of how grassroots youth work can change lives in real and lasting ways.
